Whilst an apprentice chef in 2002, I found my passion for desserts, particularly cakes. It wasn’t until my second child was born in 2013 that I decided to turn my passion into a business that others could enjoy too.
I am a professionally trained chef and self taught cake decorator. I have attended cake decorating classes to better my skills, including a one on one course at Whimsical Cake House in Melbourne. My cakes have even featured on the Australian Cake Decorating Network Facebook page!
Sweet as Candi has given me a way to be able to share my joy and passion for cakes with people other than just my family. I get a buzz from seeing the smile on people’s faces when they see the cake I have created for them.
I am a mum, I work full time and I just love to bake.
